Resurgence

Resurgence is a photographic and editorial series about return, transformation and altered presence. Through skin, synthetic matter, light and physical tension, the project stages a body resurfacing differently, somewhere between editorial portraiture, organic fiction and visual research. As the introductory project of Obsession Studio, Resurgence was entirely produced by Alex and me. I led the creative direction, art direction, visual research, graphic design and post-production, shaping the project as a complete visual system across image, motion and identity. Alongside creative direction, i also built a graphic system to fit the universe and made a lot of compositing to clean up the photos to our liking.
